State of the European Union: 10 September 2025
On 10 September, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will address the European Parliament in the yearly State of the European Union. She will reflect on the past and present plans for the future of the European Union.

The State of the European Union (SOTEU) is a speech from the President of the European Commission to the members of the European Parliament. It is about making sure that the EU meets the expectations of Europeans.
